Welcome to the spine-chilling #WorldOfFear at Kent ScareGround, where darkness and fear lurk around every corner. Our scare actors are the heart and soul of this haunted experience, bringing nightmares to life for our guests. However, amidst the screams and scares, it's crucial for our #ScareActors to take care of themselves to ensure a hauntingly fantastic performance.

We will be holding live auditions for Kent Scareground at Hewitts Farm on Sunday 20th August (sign up via website) and thought now would be a great time to share some tips and tricks to keep yourself healthy during the scare season.

In this blog, we will delve into self-care tips specially curated for our scare actors, so they can give their best while embracing the shadows.

Embrace the Power of Hydration:

In the midst of the adrenaline rush and intense scare sessions, it's easy for scare actors to overlook hydration. Staying hydrated is vital for sustaining energy levels and ensuring peak performance. Encourage our Scare Actors to carry a water bottle with them throughout their haunting journey, and make sure they take short breaks to rehydrate and refuel. After all, even the most fearsome monsters need to drink water!

Warm-Up Rituals for Fearful Feats:

Scaring takes physical exertion and can lead to muscle strain if not adequately prepared. Prior to stepping into the dark abyss, advise our scare actors to perform warm-up exercises to loosen their muscles. Simple stretches can go a long way in preventing injuries and enhancing their flexibility, allowing them to embody their eerie characters more convincingly.

Supportive Footwear for Nightmares:
